Defining the Authentic Reformation
Authentic is a word that is commonly used to describe the culture of Authentic Reformation Gatherings. In attempting to capture this culture one must therefore understand the definition of the term ‘Authentic’.
The Word Authentic means it is real, true, or what people say it is:
Reformation is another term used to describe the culture of the events in which we host. From a literal standpoint, it means to ‘make straight either by a right arrangement and right ordering or by making an amendment and bringing right again’.
Authentic Reformation therefore conveys the idea of returning to that which was in the beginning, which is the WORD. (John 1:1-3).
Authentic Reformation presents to Leaders in and out of the Church a ‘transformed way of drawing nearer to God’ (Romans 12:2).
